Eagle Explorer Freshmen Program

UNIVERSITY OF LIMERICK

This picture shows the green and vibrant campus of the University of Limerick in Limerick, Ireland.

The University of Limerick is a wonderful option for Freshmen students considering studying abroad in Europe, as the primary language is English, and first-year courses are taught across 70+ areas of study. The University of Limerick is a 340-acre park-like campus within walking distance of Limerick's city core.  Limerick, Ireland, is a youthful city with roughly half of its population aged under 35. The University of Limerick is also fully equipped with a medical center, counseling services, student learning centers, a library, and an active student services office. Freshmen can also expect to work with an on-site freshmen program manager for extra support while attending the University of Limerick.

The application process for this program is three stages.

1. Students must apply through our Freshman Spring Program Application.

2. Students will go through an interview stage (this step is not guaranteed to all applicants, each application will be evaluated- by committee- on a first-come-first-serve basis).

3. Approved students will then apply to the University of Limerick's Freshman Spring Program (response times after submission will vary).

Application Information:

Priority Deadline: September 15, 2024

Final Deadline: October 1, 2024

Interviews will be scheduled within a week of the application deadline. All interviews will be scheduled at the Global Engagement Office's discretion.
